I really do agree with this statement by Mr.Haymore. I do believe i will go far with CTR because when you do right you get right. If i do wrong i know for a fact i won't be anything in life. My life will pretty much go down hill. That is not what i want so i know to get to where i want to be i must do CTR actions. Becoming successful is one of my biggest goals. Making my parents proud is another one. I know accomplishing my goals will have to be done with me being a CTR person. I will do my best to get to where i want to be. Some CTR actions i will do are not do drugs, or drink. I won’t slack off in school and i will be on top of my things. My attitude has to match my mindset so i know and believe that i will continue to make the right choices. At the end it will all be worth it and it will all pay off.

CLASS EVALUATION

Some things i liked about this class are being able to learn how to create different types of things. We learned how to create tables and it was interesting because throughout the years here at Marquez i never really was taught that besides in this class. I learned how to type better and i liked that because it will do me good in the future. Another thing i liked was being able to learn all about different type of careers. Something else i liked was doing the card check and getting a candy if you were called on and had your CTR card.

Some things i disliked about this class are that at times it can be really boring. I think that because we would do the same thing every time we met in this class. Another thing i didn't like was that we wouldn't get much free time. I disliked that we always had to be on typing tutor after we were done with our work. Being in this class wasn't really bad but it’d make me really sleepy.

A couple recommendations for improving this class can be changing it up a bit by not making students do the same thing every time they meet in this class. Another thing is checking to see who has their card with them more often. Letting students eat as long as they pick up after themselves. Lastly allow students to be given free time when done with their work.

A highlight for me in this class was walking in and always being greeted with a big smile from Mr. Haymore. Also realizing all the different types of things that can ruin your future if done. I realized CHOOSING THE RIGHT should always be the choice i make. These are the highlights that were for me in class.

I feel i really did do my best in this class because whenever i came i always did my work. I always read and wrote in my life planning goal and i made myself be productive in this class. I would also always complete my SSS. i know i did good in this class because i currently have a high B. My grade in this class has never been anything below a B.

I do read my life planning goal journal like 3 times a week or usually whenever i have time. I don't do it on a daily due to the amount of homework i would get in other classes. Now that we will be going on break i am going to dedicate 5 minutes of my time into my journal.

I really am committed to being a CTR person because i never do anything i shouldn't. I look for the best in things and i don't allow people to put me under pressure. I do random acts of kindness and i am always really nice to people. I have a big heart and i know that i will continue to be the way i am. I am willing to always make good choices for my own good and not look for any trouble.

This saying by Mr.Haymore is a really good thing that people should live by. Choosing the right can be quite hard at times but at the end of the day it is always worth it. Staying out of trouble will keep you from receiving consequences and will show you make good choices. I am pretty grateful to have been one of the students here at Marquez to learn about choosing the right. This saying will take me a long way in life and will help me make the best choices. For example, if i go out with some friends and they try to convince me to do drugs and i say no then i am making a CTR action. There is no better feeling than making the right choices and staying out of trouble. One bad choice can ruin your life and One good choice can change your life. Being a CTR person can be very hard because many things can be tempting but the harder the better. Challenging yourself to do good shows how much of a good/hard worker you are. I will carry this saying “CTR” throughout my life and see where it takes me.

To me this statement means that if you have a good characteristic meaning your attitude and the way you are there will be happiness at home. Having a good characteristic is important in life because it describes you and who you are. Having harmony in a home is a beautiful thing and is very important. For example, if i am respectful, helpful, understanding, and lovable and the rest of my family members are too then that will create harmony and harmony will create a home. This quote has a very powerful meaning. It is true and it is something i would have never thought of. A ship without a rudder does not get to it's destination because the rudder only allows the ship to go left and right. This is related to a man without a goal because a man without a goal has no destination to reach. These two things are being compared because neither the boat without a rudder and a man without a goal have nothing good going for them. For example, if a man had goals he'd do everything he can to get to where he wants to be. With a boat it is the same because if it had a rudder it would be able to have a destination but if it doesn't then it has no destination. This statement relates to my life because i have a life planning goal book and without it i would be like a boat without a rudder.

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend

1. During my Memorial Day weekend I stayed home and cleaned because my mom was going to invite family over. We invited family over and had a BBQ. I enjoyed it because being able to spend time with my family is something i am always grateful for. I got to meet my baby cousin for the first time and it was really exciting!! Being able to get in the pool with all my cousins was really fun and playing board games with them brought us to all being able to bond together. Some homework I did throughout my weekend was my Math homework. A CTR experience was helping my cousin out on helping her make the right choices. I explained to her what was right from wrong and how making the wrong choices can affect her and her future. Something else i did was visit a cemetery and i got to see many people who had once served for our country. It was something i had never done and it was a very beautiful experience. Something i got to do was rest and enjoy a peaceful weekend. I hardly ever have a good amount of time to rest due to having busy schedules. Being able to have a break felt good and it's something i’d like if it happened more often. A couple of movies that i watched was Logan, Frozen and Toy Story. Something i wish i could have done was go to Disneyland because i haven't gone in like a month.

To me this quote is really deep because when something bad happens and you don't forgive the person you’ll continue to think about the hate you have for the person and what they’ve done. Forgiving someone can be very hard but i believe that it carries a lot off your chest. Carrying hate towards someone won't do you any good. Another thing is carrying guilt, it is not a good thing because it will always be kept at the back of your head. Asking for forgiveness or forgiving someone is something good to do because letting go and accepting something no matter how hard it is will make your life a lot better. For example, if someone were to accidentally hit a kid on the head while playing and the kid ends up dying the parents of the kid would be really upset towards the person who did it. But, in reality holding a grudge or hating someone is not going to change anything so forgiving people will help you accept the bad and the good.

These people are amazing because they put their life in danger and are still willing to do it and not give up. It makes me feel happy seeing someone who has or is fighting for our country because without those people who knows where we'd be right now. It takes a lot of courage and dedication to become a soldier it is something you should put your whole heart into when doing it.

To me this quote has a lot of meaning to it. I think it has a lot of meaning to it because when you dare someone to do something good there's a higher chance of nothing bad happening than when daring someone to do something they shouldn't. Daring someone to do something that is right is more beneficial for the person and it's surroundings. Daring someone to do something bad is not beneficial for the person because of the consequences they may have. For example, daring somebody to jump off a bridge can be dangerous. It can be dangerous because the person who is being dared can hurt themselves. Being dared in a good way can be helpful and can even be an act of kindness. For example, being dared to give your food to a homeless man sitting by you. This is very kind and helpful because the homeless person would probably feel really grateful and happy. Doing what's right is always better than having consequences.

To me these words that Phillip says means that you must work hard to get to where you want to be. You must do something you enjoy and follow your passion. You shouldn't do something for the money, you should do it because you love and enjoy it. When you help others and are good to others good will come to you. I feel this statement relies on “treat people how you want to be treated. Working hard to get to where you want to be is a long process. You must be dedicated to it and not give up. You should focus on doing something you love rather than for the money. I agree to the third statement because you can eventually get tired or bored of what you say is your “passion” but is really not. For example, if i work as a vet but don't enjoy it and i continue to work as one just because i get paid good won't benefit me in the long run because i will eventually get tired of doing something i enjoy. Since i enjoy doing make up i feel i would follow my passion and work hard to get to where i want to be.

You are so tempted to keep the money but you think and end up deciding you should give it back. Giving it back would mean you are doing the right thing. I really like this quote because it's a good thing to live by. What it means to me is that it's something good to see when seeing someone stand up for others or themselves. These 10 commandments have very powerful words and meanings.All these commandments require CTR actions. Following these commandments can lead you to having a good future. I believe that because when you do good you get good in return. Even doing it as a random act of kindness is an amazing thing to do. An example of one of these commandments can be Telling the truth always and don't blame another person for doing something you did. This example falls under the 10th commandment. Taking full responsibility for your actions instead of blaming someone else for something you did is something you should always do because choosing the wrong is never the way to go. These commandments have made me realize that being a humble good human being and choosing the right is the best choice to make because consequences come with every bad thing you do. Another example of one of these commandments is always being kind to others and doing something for another person that will make them smile. Doing something for someone who feels alone in this world will make them feel very special and important and that is an act of kindness. There should have to be no reason to be nice or kind to someone it should be an everyday thing. These commandments are all actions of CTR.

To me this quote is really powerful because i absolutely agree with it. I agree with this quote because i truly believe that people should not promise something to someone if they aren't going to go through with whatever the promise was. Keeping a promise is not hard at all. Not keeping a promise can be very hurtful and make someone feel bad. The consequences can be karma. Keeping a promise is for example, “I promise i will come to practice tomorrow.”. This is like making an agreement to something and you breaking it is basically like you’re lying. An example of breaking a promise is saying “ i promise to go over tonight “. By breaking this promise the person who made the promise would have to let the other person know that they won't be able to go over anymore. I feel like when someone breaks a promise to you it sucks and it would make me feel some type a way. People who keep their promise are people who stay true to others and for that it clearly means they are choosing the right.

This is saying that when you invest your time on good things it gets you places and investing your time on badness gets you nowhere. For example, Investing your time on something good would be like going to school. Investing your time on school is goodness because eventually all that time and work that was put into it will have a great outcome. An example of badness is doing drugs every day. This is badness because when you do drugs it is unhealthy and it gets you nowhere in life. It's much better to invest your time on good things rather than on bad because it's best to be educated and successful rather than to be a low life with no future. What this quote means to me is that you do something only because you feel it's right. Making decisions because they are easy is a good thing because when making good decisions you are onto a new, good path. Making cheap decisions is a wrong thing to do. An example of a good decision is turning in my homework on time and having it completed. Making that decision means i decided to keep my grade on track and tried improving it for my own good. Making a cheap decision can for example be cheating on a test or plagiarizing These decisions are no good because cheating your way out through life will get you nowhere and plagiarizing can put you in jail. I truly believe and agree that you shouldn't make decisions because they are popular for example ditching school. Ditching school is not a good decision especially if you are just being a follower. When doing something bad you are automatically involved with the wrong crowd. I am with the concept of making decisions because they are right.

To me what this quote means is that we as people should make good influences that way people concentrate on them. A good influence for example can be, to look up to someone who doesn't do drugs and does good in school. That is sound and good because it is choosing the right. When doing good and getting awarded for doing good people concentrate on the little things and think to themselves “wow i want that”. I believe that giving your attention to the wrong things is a waste of time and will get you nowhere in life. I can relate to this quote because it is used in everyday life. What this quote is saying is that no matter who the person is you should always be true to them. For example in a friendship, even if on bad terms you should be true to them and not go talking behind their backs. When someone is wrong about something you shouldn't go and make fun of it, you should help them understand. Being true to somebody is a big responsibility because there are times when people can get really petty and make a big deal about everything. I believe it's never right to turn your back on someone. I also believe talking about people in a mean way is wrong. Staying true to people will keep you surrounded with good things in life.
