“A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder.”
This quote has a very powerful meaning. It is true and it is something i would have never thought of. A ship without a rudder does not get to it's destination because the rudder only allows the ship to go left and right. This is related to a man without a goal because a man without a goal has no destination to reach. These two things are being compared because neither the boat without a rudder and a man without a goal have nothing good going for them. For example, if a man had goals he'd do everything he can to get to where he wants to be. With a boat it is the same because if it had a rudder it would be able to have a destination but if it doesn't then it has no destination. This statement relates to my life because i have a life planning goal book and without it i would be like a boat without a rudder.
