I really do agree with this statement by Mr.Haymore. I do believe i will go far with CTR because when you do right you get right. If i do wrong i know for a fact i won't be anything in life. My life will pretty much go down hill. That is not what i want so i know to get to where i want to be i must do CTR actions. Becoming successful is one of my biggest goals. Making my parents proud is another one. I know accomplishing my goals will have to be done with me being a CTR person. I will do my best to get to where i want to be. Some CTR actions i will do are not do drugs, or drink. I won’t slack off in school and i will be on top of my things. My attitude has to match my mindset so i know and believe that i will continue to make the right choices. At the end it will all be worth it and it will all pay off.

CLASS EVALUATION

Some things i liked about this class are being able to learn how to create different types of things. We learned how to create tables and it was interesting because throughout the years here at Marquez i never really was taught that besides in this class. I learned how to type better and i liked that because it will do me good in the future. Another thing i liked was being able to learn all about different type of careers. Something else i liked was doing the card check and getting a candy if you were called on and had your CTR card.

Some things i disliked about this class are that at times it can be really boring. I think that because we would do the same thing every time we met in this class. Another thing i didn't like was that we wouldn't get much free time. I disliked that we always had to be on typing tutor after we were done with our work. Being in this class wasn't really bad but it’d make me really sleepy.

A couple recommendations for improving this class can be changing it up a bit by not making students do the same thing every time they meet in this class. Another thing is checking to see who has their card with them more often. Letting students eat as long as they pick up after themselves. Lastly allow students to be given free time when done with their work.

A highlight for me in this class was walking in and always being greeted with a big smile from Mr. Haymore. Also realizing all the different types of things that can ruin your future if done. I realized CHOOSING THE RIGHT should always be the choice i make. These are the highlights that were for me in class.

I feel i really did do my best in this class because whenever i came i always did my work. I always read and wrote in my life planning goal and i made myself be productive in this class. I would also always complete my SSS. i know i did good in this class because i currently have a high B. My grade in this class has never been anything below a B.

I do read my life planning goal journal like 3 times a week or usually whenever i have time. I don't do it on a daily due to the amount of homework i would get in other classes. Now that we will be going on break i am going to dedicate 5 minutes of my time into my journal.

I really am committed to being a CTR person because i never do anything i shouldn't. I look for the best in things and i don't allow people to put me under pressure. I do random acts of kindness and i am always really nice to people. I have a big heart and i know that i will continue to be the way i am. I am willing to always make good choices for my own good and not look for any trouble.

This saying by Mr.Haymore is a really good thing that people should live by. Choosing the right can be quite hard at times but at the end of the day it is always worth it. Staying out of trouble will keep you from receiving consequences and will show you make good choices. I am pretty grateful to have been one of the students here at Marquez to learn about choosing the right. This saying will take me a long way in life and will help me make the best choices. For example, if i go out with some friends and they try to convince me to do drugs and i say no then i am making a CTR action. There is no better feeling than making the right choices and staying out of trouble. One bad choice can ruin your life and One good choice can change your life. Being a CTR person can be very hard because many things can be tempting but the harder the better. Challenging yourself to do good shows how much of a good/hard worker you are. I will carry this saying “CTR” throughout my life and see where it takes me.

To me this quote means that before doing something you should ask yourself if it’s right or wrong. If it’s wrong you should act accordingly to it and not do it because you know it is not right. Choosing to do something when right is always the best way to go because it keeps you out of trouble. Acting accordingly to the right things rather than the wrong things means you are CTR. For example, bullying. Bullying is something wrong and something that shouldn't happen. Before choosing to do something you know you aren't supposed to do act accordingly and think about the consequences that may occur.

To me this quote means that if you do your part in something that you know is not right you are a part of lying even if you try to hide it. Lying is a bad thing because eventually the truth is known. It is always better to tell the truth that way you are not caught up into trouble. Telling the truth makes you a CTR person and that is a good thing because a CTR person never gets into trouble. For example, if you're at a store and your friends say you steal this and this and this and you think you won't get caught, eventually you will because the truth always comes out one way or another. In that moment of stealing you didn't think about the consequences and you know what you were doing was wrong but you did it anyways.

To me this quote means that when you tell a lie you must keep telling lies just to cover up all the other lies. Lying is a bad thing to do because you can get caught and get into trouble. Lying means you're choosing the wrong and should be punished for that. For example, one time i lied to my mom about where i was. I had asked her if i can go out with a friend and she said no. I had no other choice but to lie to her because i had really wanted to go out. She called and asked where i was and i said at school, in that moment i was afraid to get caught, i was afraid because i had to keep lying and i had run out of things to say. Telling the truth is always the best choice, it keeps you out of trouble and it doesn't make you feel guilty.

I believe this quote means that making the right choices means much more than winning or losing. Being fair in whatever it is you’re doing is better than losing or winning. It’s good to be fair because at the end of the day you’ll know you made the right decision. For example, in a game it shouldn't be about winning or losing it should be about playing fair and having fun. Sure winning is nice and of course losing sucks but playing fair is best.

What this quote by Mark Twain means to me is that being honest is the best thing to always do. People are always afraid of the truth but it's better to be told the truth than to be lied to. The way i think of it is lying gets you nowhere and being honest makes you a good person for being able to admit something. An example of being honest is cheating then admitting that you cheated and not keeping it a secret. Like if lets say a guy is cheating on a girl and he admits it to her by saying “i've been seeing someone else” instead of just going on with the relationship and making the girl look like a fool. An example of dishonesty is telling your mom you're at a friends house but in reality you're out doing drugs. Being honest is always the right thing to do even if it means hurting someone. Were all grown!!!! Say what it is, how it is, and what it ain't.

What these bullet points mean to me is that when someone is telling you to do something you know you shouldn't be doing you should know to say no. Never be afraid of doing the right thing for your own good. If someone is telling you the truth about something believe it. Dont deny it just because it hurt your feelings or got you upset. You should learn to accept it and face it. Doing the right thing because it's right is a great thing to do. For example standing up for yourself is always the right thing to do. Sometimes you have to be the bigger person and just let things go. Everything will always happen for a reason even if we don't know what that reason is.

What this quote means to me is that if you hang around with good people you won't do bad things. Hanging out with the right people can make you stay out of trouble. Wise people are smart and always choose the right. For example hanging around with people who care about school and their education will make you make better choices. If you're the type of person to hang around with fools then you aren't making any good decisions. Fools are people who don't care about anything. They don't care about school, or their future. For example people who are always drinking and doing drugs are people who don't choose the right. Staying away from fools and being close to wise people is 100% better.

Monson means to me is that if your friends are trying to get yo to do something you shouldnt like let say drink then you must stand up for yourself and say you wont do it. If whats best is isolating yourself from them because they are bad influences then its best if you do. Choosing the right is always a good thing to do. Doing something bad wont get you anywhere so its good to always try and make the right choices. If people are trying to get you to do things you shouldnt then they really arent considered friends. Friends should never tell you to do things you shouldnt, they should encourage you to always do your best and be good. If they are choosing the wrong always be the bigger person and help them understand that what theyre doing is not right. Be the light and guide them to all the good things they can be doing instead.

Stumbling down happens when you make bad choices like doing drugs. It stumbles you down because doing drugs can ruin your life and ruining your life will only ruin your goals in life. Doing good things like being grateful and responsible well help your building block and will also help you accomplish your goals in life. Doing the right things will do you good in your future. Not slacking off on school , missing school to do drugs or to drink will benefit for you in your future when trying to get into a college. Hard work pays off.
