What this quote by James E. Faust means to me is that your goal is a building block. Our goal shouldnt be an irritation. Building yourself up is always a good thing to do. Stumbling down happens when you make bad choices like doing drugs. It stumbles you down because doing drugs can ruin your life and ruining your life will only ruin your goals in life. Doing good things like being grateful and responsible well help your building block and will also help you accomplish your goals in life. Doing the right things will do you good in your future. Not slacking off on school , missing school to do drugs or to drink will benefit for you in your future when trying to get into a college. Hard work pays off.

What this quote by John Wooden means to me is that being yourself is better than being someone you're not. You should always act the same whether you're at school or maybe even practice. If in a sports team you should always put your social life first. It is more important to be a great person than a great player. Be good and do good whether in a court or not. You shouldnt just put your all into one thing only. Do great when playing, when getting an education and not only something that is less important.
