Reflection: I think this quote by Dale Murphy means that he will not cheat at all. Meaning he won’t copy anybody on anything, or take some ones side, or maybe even means to play fair.

Duties and Responsibilities: Oncology specialists are physicians trained in a variety of cancer diagnostic and treatment procedures, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Salary: $217,856                 

Education: Typical oncology specialists may have as much as 15 years of advanced education and training, which includes undergraduate studies, medical school, and one or more residency training programs. Additionally, licensure is required to practice as a physician.

                               

Reflection: Yes I would like to be an Oncologist because I want to go into something with the medical field and it seems like a really good job to have.

Reflection: I think this quote by Dale Murphy means the way you act with people matters the most. I think this is true because if you act weird around someone they would probably think your funny or something. If you act mean with someone they probably wont like you.

Heliotherapy

Duties and Responsibilities:  What this is the therapeutic use of sunlight. This is a treatment only for the people that have depression, to boost the effects of antidepressant medication, as a substitute for antidepressants during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and to enable patients with depression to take lower doses of antidepressants. Another type of light therapy uses ultraviolet wavelengths for treatment of the skin disorder psoriasis and some other skin conditions, as well as for a type of cancer called cutaneous T- cells lymphoma.

Salary: $45,000

Education: Certified doctor to prescribe light therapy

                    

Reflection: Certain drugs can increase sensitivity to sunlight and may cause skin reactions as a result of light therapy. Some other side effects of light therapy are minimal. Some patients report headaches, eyestrain or eye irritation or nausea when they begin treatment.  

Mitch Mickey

Mitch Mickey

Mitch Mickey was in the 9nth grade. His dad was diagnosed with cancer. Every morning at 6:00 A.M Mitch Mickey would go to the weight room to lift weights. Mitch Mickey had joined in on a restuling match against a person in a different school than him. He was doing all this for his dad just to make him happy. Mitch Mickey had won his first restuling match and continued winning. He made it to the finals and won. His opponent went to Mitch Mickeys dad and told him " stay strong ". Mitch Mickey then went and hugged his dad and didnt let him go. I think Mitch Mickey did a good thing. I think he did a good thing because he just wanted to make his dad who has cancer happy and he did.

Reflection: I think this quote by Benjamin Franklin means that no matter how you look rich, pretty, ugly, poor a right heart will always exceed all.

Health Educator

Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities: Health Educators teach people about behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of individuals and communities. Community health workers collect data and discuss health concerns with members of specific populations or communities.

Salary: $41,830 (per year) $20.11 (per hour)

Education: Health educators need a bachelor’s degree. Many employers require the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential. Requirements for community health workers vary, although they typically have at least a high school diploma and must complete a brief period of on-the-job training. Some states have certification programs for community health workers.

Reflection: I probably would like to become a Health Educator because it seems like a nice job to have. Another reason is because they get paid well and I would like to be able to teach people about behaviors that promote wellness.
