Reflection: I think what this quote means is that you have to think before you make any decisions or actions. I also think it means that if you do right things good things will come in the future.

Health Information Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:  Compile, process, and maintain medical records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health system. Process, maintain, compile, and report patient information for health requirements and standards in a manner consistent with the health care industry’s numerical coding system.

Salary: $37,710 per year

Education: In order to find an entry- level position, aspiring health information management specialist need to be familiar with basic medical vocabulary and insurance coding techniques. Needs an Associate’s degree and a RHIT certification often preferred. Courses in these programs focus on topics that include medical terminology, anatomy, medical coding, statistics and database security. Most employers hire candidates that have earned an associate’s degree in health information management.

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to be one of these because it’s a lot of work. I think it’s a lot of work because you need to keep file of everybody’s paperwork.

What this video was about this kid named Myles and this soldier. The soldier was going to for dinner with his wife and Myles family was right behind him before he walked in he found $20 in the parking lot but decided to give it to the soldier since he reminded him if his dad that had passed away 5 week before he was born. Andy wrote a note why he gave him the $20 bill. At the end the soldier was honored to be recognized for his actions as a soldier and thoughtful that Myles would give him something that he found to him. Now the soldier reads the note every day and hopes on day people around the world would give as well as Myles did. Some emotions I felt while watching this video was happy because this little kid younger than us would do an act of kindness would think of other’s.

Environmental Health Specialists

            Environmental Health Specialists

Duties and Responsibilities: Environmental health specialists monitor and safety conditions in residential, industrial, commercial, and recreational settings. A person who works as an environmental health specialist may also be called an environmental health or safety inspector. Most environmental safety work for the government agencies that monitor local, state, federal safety and environmental regulations. This includes checking plants factories for pollution or industrial waste, inspecting restaurants for cleanliness, and inspecting schools, day care centers, and nursing homes for hospitals handle biological waste and ensure that swimming pools and other recreational facilities are safe for public use.

Salary: $37300 to $57,551 per year

Education: Most position for environmental health specialists requires at least a bachelor’s degree. Significant course work in chemistry, biology, public health sciences, as well as environmental engineering is usually needed as well. Those want to work for the government has to complete a certification course administered by the appropriate local, state, or federal agency.

                                               

Reflection: I think being an environmental health specialists would be really cool. I think it would be really cool because you would be able to go into resturants , companies , and lots of other places. Another reason would be because they get paid really good.

Reflection: I think this quote by George Washington means that you have to associate yourself with good people in order to be able to make right choices. If you associate yourself with bad people then you will eventually end up choosing the wrong and you will make your life hard for yourself.

4.  The way by honoring that day could be by taking a break from work, a chance to travel or to do something special with friends and family, and take a moment to relax
